NorthStar Impact is an impact funds manager focused on achieving outcomes by investing in companies listed on stock exchanges. The NorthStar Impact Australian Equities Fund was launched in January 2017 with the dual aim of delivering attractive investment returns and positive social and environmental impact.
Since then, the Fund has returned over 7% p.a. (net of fees). The annual impact report (available at https://www.northstarimpact.com.au/our-impact/) details the positive social and environmental outcomes of the portfolio companies. Through the provision of new capital and engagement, NorthStar aims to help companies to scale or extend their positive impact.
