The Funding Network is inviting for-purpose organisations to apply to pitch at its Thriving Young People crowdfunding events scheduled for Melbourne and Sydney in March, 2025.
TFN is looking for organisations that support and champion young people and aim to break cycles of disadvantage and promote equity for youth.
Successful applicants will be delivering programs that do one or more of the following, specifically for young people living in NSW and/or VIC:
- Address issues of social inequality in the areas of poverty, sickness or disadvantage,
- Find a better solution to an underlying social problem, and/or
- Pilot innovative solutions to social issues, with the potential for expansion.
Social issue areas that TFN supports include: homelessness, living with disability, mental health, education and employment pathways, crime reduction, youth recidivism, social and economic inclusion, social justice and wellbeing.
As a guide finalists will pitch for approximately $30,000 each.
Examples of previous organisations supported in this area include Mountain Track Youth, Confit Pathways, Bridge It, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The events will be held on Wednesday, March 12 2025 in Melbourne, and Thursday 27 March 2025 in Sydney.
Applications close for the Victorian event at midnight Wednesday, December 4 2024, and for the NSW event at midnight Wednesday, December 11 2024.
