The 2025 Impact Investment Summit Asia Pacific — the premier event for investors looking to connect, learn, and share in order to scale positive impact — will be held March 26-27th, 2025 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.

Hosted by Impact Asia Pacific, the 2025 Summit will have an enhanced focus on deals and investment opportunities. Kerry Series Director of Impact Asia Pacific, who will play a leading role in next year’s Summit, provided a glimpse of what to expect:

“In 2025, the key focus will be on highlighting investment opportunities across sectors including climate and environment, education, healthcare, inclusion, and social infrastructure.

“We will have experts in each of these fields explaining the key issues that need to be addressed, dealmakers highlighting activity in these areas, and investors talking about what they are looking for. Then funds and companies will present, providing attendees with live deal opportunities”.

“A key evolution of the Summit in 2025 is to have dedicated streams for technology and innovation, such as EdTech, Biotech and MedTech, and Climate Tech, given their important role in addressing social and environmental problems.”

Summit program and impact focus areas

To identify investment opportunities and facilitate capital flows to address pressing social and environmental challenges, sessions will focus on key impact investment sectors with keynote speakers, expert panels, dealmakers, and investors.

Each sector will have a separate stream enabling Summit attendees to delve deeply into one area or pick and choose the sessions most relevant to them across the streams. These streams are:

  • Climate and Environment/ClimateTech: accelerating decarbonisation by transitioning faster to clean energy and a circular economy.
  • Communities – aged care, built environment, childcare, housing, and inclusion: ensuring safer, fairer, more inclusive communities for all.
  • Education/EdTech: improving outcomes across all ages through better access to quality education tools and services and closing the education gap.
  • Healthcare/Biotech and MedTech: developing treatments and services to provide affordable, accessible healthcare and improve preventative and early intervention.

Pitch Sessions

Following the keynote presentations and panel sessions, companies and funds from each sector will pitch to investors, providing attendees with live capital raising opportunities.

While planning is still underway, there has already been a great response from private and institutional investors in regards to this refreshed framework.

Summit attendees

Summit attendees will include active institutional investors, Australia’s biggest foundations and family offices, advisors eager to learn, government looking to partner, and companies and funds seeking capital to scale.

The largest cohort of the Summit audience are investors seeking opportunities to invest in companies, funds and projects that provide solutions, and those looking to learn more about social and environmental challenges.

Kerry commented, “Given the scale of the social and environmental challenges that we face today, the Summit plays an important role in bringing together all types of capital – government, foundations, family offices, wealth managers, and institutional investors – with the entrepreneurs, business leaders, project managers, and not-for-profit operators that can apply that capital to provide solutions to the challenges. This ranges from early-stage start-ups and small social enterprises that may require a few hundreds of thousands of dollars to major infrastructure projects or housing funds that can allocate billions of dollars”.

Partnership opportunities

The Summit organisers are currently seeking partners to co-create the summit program content and speaker panels. Partner support helps the Summit deliver its mission to enable capital to scale positive impact investments.
